Streams Gallery
On this page you will view digital images of the streams that flow from Boulder Mountain and the Aquarius Plateau. These streams are very steep and rocky in the higher elevations on Boulder Mountain. As the streams flow through the mid elevations, they begin to mellow. The streambeds remain very rocky throughout their winding course to the slickrock canyons below. The riparian changes from towering pines in the upper sections to lush stands of red birch, mountain alder, willow, spruce and ponderosa in the lower reaches.
