North Side Lakes Photo Album,The lakes of the north side of Boulder Mountain and the Aquarius Plateau.

In this gallery there are digital images of the lakes of the north side of Boulder Mountain and the Aquarius Plateau. The photographs were shot from different angles along the shoreline and in some cases from the hillsides above the lakes. There are also shots from the rim of the Aquarius Plateau looking down on some lakes to show an alternate view of the lake. Several lakes are large enough and surrounded with so much dense timber that the shots from along the shoreline do not give the viewer a clear picture of the lake. Shooting these lakes from the vantage point of the rim above provides a wider scope of each lakes unique character. The views from the 11,000 ft. Aquarius Plateau are breathtaking as you walk along the rim. To the north is nearby Thousand Lakes Mountain, and the towns of Torrey, Bicknell, Lyman, Loa and Fremont, all in Wayne County.
